AS A MAN THINKETH, SO HE LIVES

As a man thinketh so he lives
Life being like a wind, shallow thinkers blow like hollow reeves
A narrow strait for philosophy’s ship to navigate
Content to live under a servile tree’s shadow as a beneficiary of its serendipitous shade
While in the sunshine, his own courier of personal fortune is made to wait
And what a banality a man’s life is, without it’s base as philosophy!
Such a wretch becomes a wreck as he plies the misaligned rail of destiny
Does he not become a sentimental gnome as he conforms with antiquated norms?
Life’s playground juvenile, who fiddles with theatricals while his Rome burns
A being of habit, wandering about, eager to make out of any charlatan an Abbot
A consummate idolator in the synagogue propitiating a demagogue as orator
As a man thinketh so he lives
Deep thinkers wear their passion for reasonable doubts on their sleeves
Seasoned masters of their own fate whose mature conviction is always worth the wait
A house built on the rock of philosophy whose foundation cannot be eroded by subversive apostate
Promise of intelligent compromise is what their philosophically powered lives epitomize
Never a tree whose leaves are subjected to the sway of blind acceptance’s wind, nor the roots loose when blind doubts arise
Wise ones who are not eager to buy cheap, only to end up paying twice
The only piece of critical thinking coal that never cracks under antithesis’s pressure, but turns to synthesis’s diamond
These are like unto Moses, as they often valiantly part the red sea of bigotry for radical truth to come through with aplomb
Leaving behind, the pharaoh of manipulative dictatorship cast to his tomb
As a man thinketh so he lives!!!
His sociality being an indicator of his psychography
Fire not being an indicator of smoke, presents a gross anomaly
How else is true serenity achieved, except by self conviction’s bestowed sovereignty?
