y wine and strong drink is water
Placates me when i have chips on my shoulder
Though like plants, toxic encounter may cause me plasmolysis
I draw from fountain of divine water of life for balance like Osmosis
Purifies my blood as my ultimate pain and stress Dialysis
Thought of red wine as a solution across my mind though flashes
Or Bury my head in sand like Ostrich with the effect of Hashish
But it will diminish mental alertness, an essential in a time of crisis
Water however get’s me oxygenated even as my alertness rises
Like a sweet mother’s lullaby I’m put to sleep by oxygenated water
Drifting away into a state beyond all the toxic mental chatter
To wake up into a new day of chanting hare krsna mantra
With a consciousness pacified and increased physical stamina
