let all the twinkle of the stars desert the sky
Rule the sky tonight in all your grandeur and majesty
For the infants that lies in the cradle, while mother sings lullaby
Rise Early, Moon, shimmer to calm the frayed nerves of the wearied

And the Owl shall take it’s solitary flight
Maidens to the square come with mirrors and vermilions
And the youth full of exuberance, anxious to be deflowered
Anticipating the vision of the One whose desire has kindled his fire

For the bride on rose petal bedstead
While the groom at the window, serenade bellows
And rivers of joy cascading down his rosy Romeo cheek
As he beholds with pleasure, the One he will forever treasure

Raise the tide to swell and pore out from the hide
As love ballad he sings in soprano, yet, in a mood mellow
Violin player greases his elbow, his jugular a nipple to the bottle
For a joy to behold when in September, infant to cuddle and suckle
