“I said it earlier what “denial” is, in the process of evolving and unfolding as oppose to recoiling and ultimately unfortunately imploding.
But to reiterate I would vouchsafe a different analogy.
Now, try to understand that crossing the Rubicon that we call “denial”, is analogous to your being led to a dark room where the Holy grail is kept for you, but inhabited by ferocious hungry blood thirsty cannibals. You got to the door which you must inevitably and as a matter of necessity for your growth enter into. But you hear the cannibals’ shriek and growl, you grow pale and timid, lips tightened. You close your eyes in cold sweat, anticipating the pain of being devoured.

You close your eyes so tightly that you couldn’t see the light switch in the room, which when flicked on, clearly shows you the exact position of the cannibals, your access to an Excalibur and a shield, your vantage point, which if picked and use, leads to your guaranteed slaying of the seemingly formidable predators.
Checkered by the ignorance of your access to the Excalibur and your vantage point, you ran out back into the comfort of your doldrums…”
