NEVER TRUST YOUR INTUITION!

“The word “tuition” originates from the Latin word “tuitio”, which has its roots in the word “tueri”, meaning to guard, to watch.
The dictionary defines “tuition” as teaching, instruction, guiding of an individual or group.

INTUITION then being what the word says means IN+TUITION.
Being instructed, guided from within.
Now this is where the crux of the matter is. It is very important to understand that being, Beings of experience and impressions. Our habit, responses, reactions, resonances are all to a very large extent products of our subconscious.

To say that “YOU ARE YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS!” is not an exaggeration. Albeit a relative truth.

Following the six linear systemic process of Preception, Inception, Reception, Retention, Conception, Execution, which you already read in the chapter of the same title “Six linear systemic process”, your actions formed of your long acquired photons of impressions expresses itself like a light beam through a prism of your objective contingencies, with different colours and shades of benevolent or malevolent actions. Inclusive or exclusive approach to existential realities. Your perception of the world in relation to you. either as a magmatic out pour of hot lava from a volcanic eruption in anger, or a serene flow of the Pacific, deep yet calm.

As we are essentially gregarious beings who thrive on sense of belonging and acceptance, while we fear and abhor rejection and segregation, it might then be worth the while to filter our “intuition” through the sift of the result it produces in our social Intercourse.

It is noteworthy that human beings exist subconsciously in three states, namely the state of illumination, the state of longings, and the third state being the state of delusion.

These three states have their corresponding intuitions.

INTUITION that one gets when one is situated in the state of illumination leads to higher cognitive power, development of true knowledge, being knowledge of the interconnectivity of everything in creation. One become elevated in consciousness and experience increased happiness.

INTUITION in the state of longings is characterised by unquenchable thirst for thrift. Desire for gain at the unprofitable expense of others. One sees the world as well as everything in it as only meant for the exclusive fulfilment of one’s uncontrollable desire and hankering. Great attachment to winning at all cost. Fear and hatred develops as a result of oscillating between the polarities of desire and hankering on one side, and dejection and anger on the other.

INTUITION in the state of delusion is of the nature of ignorance. These state is characterised by difficulty in determining what is beneficial action and what is not. Inclination toward self destructive behaviour and anti social conduct are the symptoms of one in this state.

In the state of Delusion one is inextricably bound to performing destructive activities. The state of Longings ties one to profit orientation, and control.

The state of Illumination is the best because it drives towards welfare activities for others, and it establishes one in a state of happiness. However even the state of Illumination has its own adverse, in that it produces the mental state of one feeling superior to others. It also leads to attachment to morality regardless of the consequences.

The Sages therefore point in the direction of Intuition in a state of transcendence.

This is the state for the Charismatic. Those beings who have by meticulous authentic spiritual discipline established a functional loving relationship with their Overself. The Lord in the heart.
Being instructed from within by one’s personal guiding spirit who is always in conference in all the goings out and comings in.
Being Omniscient, He knows, and sees all with flawless predictive accuracy, priori as well as posteriori.
Indeed only that which is transmitted through this primeval source is pristine enough to be trusted wholly. This is the true INTUITION!

This state of Yoga (Union) with the Supreme Intelligence can be reached through the process of meditation of chanting Mantra. The sanskrit word “mantra” mean that which frees the mind. Through mantra meditation, one is able to receive guidance directly from the Supreme inner guide. Consequently it results in performance of spontaneous right actions.
